Maison Saulaie wished to expand its office furniture offering in its catalog. After discussions with the marketing teams and an analysis of the best-selling office formats, we were tasked with conceptualizing several collections.
Our design department conceived two collections, including ODESK, inspired by the design of Folke Palsson’s J77 chair. Aiming to highlight the woodturning craftsmanship of our workshops, we designed a desk composed of different spindle sections with an upper shelf for placing items needed quickly within reach without encroaching on the workspace.
After the design was validated by the client, our teams adjusted some technical details to meet logistical and budgetary requirements. The entire collection having been validated by prototype, it is now mass-produced in our workshops.
